Seven Founding Principles

The Founding Fathers had this grand idea and set into motion the experiment that is the United States. They believed it could become the greatest country that has ever existed if guided by the torch of individual liberty and within the context of justice and fairness of nonintrusive government. Over the past 233 years some of these principals have been steered off course and we are now becoming a country that our founders would not recognize let alone want to be a part of. It is my humble opinion that we the people need to get back to adhering to our founding principles, no matter how painful and difficult that action may be. This country requires to be “Refounded” along the lines of those original beliefs and principles.
Seven Founding Principles:

1. Strong Defense: A strong defense is essential to the people’s liberty and freedom. By weakening our defenses in order to provide a more cancerous welfare state is destructive, dangerous, and illogical.

2. Individual Freedom: (within Constitutional Law): A free people should be governed by law and not by the whims of men.

3. Limited Government Authority (within Constitutional Law): The proper role of government is to protect equal rights, not provide equal things.

4. Equality: All mankind were created equal:

1. Equal before God.
2. Equal before the law.
3. Equal in their rights.

5. Service before self: Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

6. Reverence: All things were created by God, therefore upon him all mankind are equally dependent, and to him they are equally responsible.

7. Economic Freedom: The highest level of prosperity occurs when there is a free-market economy and a minimum of government regulations. Prosperity depends upon a climate of wholesome stimulation with five basic freedoms in operation:

1. The Freedom to try.
2. The Freedom to buy.
3. The Freedom to sell.
4. The Freedom to fail.
5. The Freedom to try again.
